Your Role

  • Coordinate and control Sun Chemical's Customs and Trade Compliance in the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements and country-specific regulations.
  • Lead operational teams in customs and trade compliance tasks, focusing on import and export processing, preference management, CTN classification, and operational trade controls.
  • Develop and implement customs and foreign trade-specific processes to enhance compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Provide professional guidance on customs and trade compliance issues in various projects.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners for customs and trade compliance services.
  • Identify training needs and organize relevant training and education in EU and HMRC customs and trade compliance.

Your Profile

  • Hold a degree or equivalent, or have relevant experience.
  • Have knowledge of UK and EU tax laws applicable to import and export of goods.
  • Be familiar with multi-modal transport and logistics.
  • Be proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Be able to analyze data and solve problems.
  • Be able to take ownership and responsibility of work, think critically, and be receptive to feedback.
