Job Title: Account Manager Spain - Travel Industry Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing relationships with our clients and consolidating our presence on the local market in Catalonia. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our new international project, expanding and consolidating our presence in the assigned territory, and maintaining and developing our relationship with signed partners to increase their performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Actively promote our new international project and expand and consolidate our presence in the assigned territory.
  • Account Management: Maintain and develop our relationship with signed partners to increase their performance.
  • API Deals: Maximize and develop API deals with potential and existing partners.
  • System Training: Follow up with existing and new partners to provide system training.
  • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Product Presentations: Conduct product presentations and networking.
  • Brand Positioning: Position the brand within the travel trade.
  • Payments Control: Manage payments.
  • Market Analysis: Provide market and competitive environment analysis.
  • Reporting: Provide comprehensive reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the travel industry, with excellent knowledge of the country's travel market, specialized in account management or business development of B2B travel companies.
  • Personal Skills: Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with fast-changing business environment, team player.
  • Analytical Skills: Used to data-driven decision-making, metrics-driven, and good with numbers.
  • International Mindset: Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts reflecting ETG's global presence.
  • Languages: Fluent in Catalan, advanced English, and other languages as a plus.
  • Transportation: Need to have a car or motorbike to travel around Catalonia.
  • Business Trips: 30% - 50% of working time might be required for market visits.
  • Location: Catalonia, preferably in Barcelona.
