This position is within the Risk & Compliance team, which manages and oversees the risk and compliance profile of Amadeus to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures while also addressing emerging risks.
As a Third-Party Risk Management & Internal Control Specialist, your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing the risks linked to third-party relationships and enhancing internal control systems. You thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment where continuous learning and improvement are prioritized.
Your key responsibilities will involve developing and refining the department's capabilities in third-party risk management, formulating, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures related to third-party engagements. You possess a proactive and flexible approach to risk management, enabling you to foresee challenges and opportunities in a fast-paced business landscape.
You will ensure the reliability and integrity of internal processes by establishing and maintaining an internal control framework; identifying and mitigating risks that could affect the organization's objectives; ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies; conducting audits and assessments to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls, and reporting findings while recommending enhancements.
You will interact with various business units and organizations to ensure consistency in Third-Party Risk Management practices and to uphold an effective internal control framework.
In this role, you will:
Conduct thorough risk assessments of third parties, encompassing financial, operational, compliance, and cybersecurity risksDevelop and implement policies and procedures for managing third-party risksPrepare regular reports on third-party risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulationsEstablish a system for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of third-party relationships, including performance reviews and risk assessments, to identify areas for improvement and respond promptly to any changes in risk profilesDesign, implement, and oversee internal control frameworks to ensure financial and operational integrity and compliance with laws and regulationsEnsure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements, updating control processes to align with changes in regulations or business operationsAbout the ideal candidate:
