Global Quality Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Quality Leader to join our Product Development Quality Leadership team. As a key partner to R&D, you will be responsible for positioning Product Development Quality as a key driver of product development excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Building a high-performing team that collaborates and shares across Customer Areas, focused on the patient, committed to Roche Operating Principles, and working with a strong sense of connectivity throughout Q&R and with other functions.
- Guaranteeing the delivery of submission-ready outputs from the development process through effective collaboration with development, regulatory, and other functions.
- Ensuring that Pre-Market Quality grows and develops the appropriate skills, capabilities, and capacities to deliver on the shared priorities of the business.
- Partnering with chapter members to design and optimize their personal professional journey, coaching team members to successfully navigate in a high-paced work environment, and thriving for efficiency and continuous improvement in daily work, enabling project acceleration.
- Ensuring that requirements from other areas, such as Privacy and Cybersecurity, Product Sustainability, and Compliance, Environmental regulations, etc., are appropriately included in product requirements and that market feedback and other quality data are included into the design process for continuous improvement of Diagnostics products.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is considered an advantage.
- Professional experience/duration: +8 years experience in the diagnostic industry or a related field in a business-related function.
- Specialist knowledge: strong business and financial acumen with an enterprise mindset.
- Demonstrated success in establishing a high-performing environment with an excellent reputation for attracting top talent, developing individuals, and inspiring them.
- Proven ability to lead with a creative attitude, very high self-awareness, and act as a coach and mentor to other leaders and partners.
You are also responsible for building and providing effective line-leadership for a global team, consistent with the Roche Values and leadership capabilities. You will seek to inspire and lead your global team to create transformative solutions and to influence their prioritization and uptake in the wider organization. With this, you ensure that customer solutions are at the forefront of the Pre-Market Quality organization and deliver its optimal contribution to the Roche Diagnostics Vision. You drive and motivate the organization enabled by a strong level of resilience.
LocationOur office is located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona. We have a hybrid model.
