Job Title: Farm Manager (Cattle)
Job Summary:
Hopecompass is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cattle farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of workers, coordinating livestock activities, and ensuring the farm's financial performance meets our expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the activities of farm workers and livestock
- Assist in planning and preparing financial reports, setting budget limits for farm activities, and monitoring performance against budgeted parameters
- Ensure strict compliance with farm standards and policies, including health and safety, product quality, property management, and environmental sustainability
- Record and report on farm activities, including finance, production, and management practices
- Purchase, utilize, and maintain farm equipment, machinery, and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the farm's operation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Crop Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in crop and animal husbandry field work
- Male candidate with a passion for farming and willingness to live on the farm
Salary: N100,000 per month (net)
