We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Siemens Mobility, S.L.U. in Madrid. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of traction control systems for vehicle platforms and specific projects.
Key Responsibilities- Determine and document the requirements for the drive control software.
- Define the software architecture and document it using modeling tools.
- Participate in the definition of the software design and its implementation.
- Agree and document the system interfaces of the software.
- Design and describe the required software components based on the software requirements.
- Program the control software using a graphic development tool.
- Integrate the control unit software on the target platform and document its functionality.
- Plan the entire software test.
- Monitor the quality of all intermediate results of the software development process.
- Determine the suitability of the completed software.
- Develop software tools and scripts.
- Organize and describe the software configuration management.
- Create a vehicle simulation as a test environment for software tests.
- You have completed a technical degree in electrical engineering, computer sciences, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
- You have previous knowledge about the rolling stock business.
- You have gained professional experience with structured software development in traction control systems.
- You have knowledge of traction systems, including traction converters and electrical motors.
- You are fluent in English (at least C1-level or equivalent). Spanish is an advantage.
- You enjoy working with colleagues from different departments and locations.
- You are ready to travel.
