Job Summary

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to lead our regional marketing efforts in the Middle East and Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives business growth and supports our company's overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for specific industries within the Middle East and Africa region, aligning with our company's overall business goals.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead generation, demand generation, and brand awareness campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Design and implement organic and paid campaigns from scratch, including crafting compelling messaging and creating visual assets for emails, social media, and paid advertising, all while maintaining our brand's look and feel.
  • Own the planning and execution of webinars and regional offline events, including pre- and post-event strategies, webinar setup, and streaming.
  • Collaborate closely with our CRM team to attract, convert, engage, and communicate with new and existing audiences.
  • Manage the regional budget, continuously monitoring and adjusting it to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work extensively with regional sales teams to gather insights and implement them into our regional marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, sales representatives, and executives.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, with a strong track record of driving business growth and achieving marketing objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
