Job Description:

The successful candidate will be part of the EAQA Team based in Tres Cantos site, where they will lead Materials and Processes Quality Assurance activities in support of the PA Manager, Engineering, and Operations teams. The main tasks to perform are:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the project Product Assurance Manager in M&P topics related to electronic assemblies, participating in customer reviews such as Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Equipment Qualification Status Review (EQSR), or Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR).
  • EAQA is responsible for the Materials and Process Control Board (MPCB).
  • EAQA provides the status of conformance (SoC) for materials and processes (M&P) requirements, requests for approval (RFA), and gives M&P inputs on critical item lists to the PA.
  • EAQA participates in MIP activities, providing technical justifications.
Support to Engineering:
  • EAQA validates qualification plans initiated by the Technology team, follows the progress of the qualification, and validates qualification reports.
  • EAQA contributes to PCB layout design reviews at the interface with the Packaging Engineering team.
  • EAQA validates product drawings (Assembly drawings, Surface treatment drawings, interface drawings...) and the product DML (Declared Materials List) submitted by the Packaging Engineering, ensuring the control of qualification status or activities during development phases.
Support to Operations:
  • EAQA validates manufacturing files, Manufacturing Flow Chart, and execution files in case of repair, ensuring that all processes involved are conform to PID or approved through specific qualifications covering project needs.
  • EAQA validates the product DPL (Declared Processes List) submitted by the Manufacturing Engineer, allowing the control of qualification status or activities during development phases.
Requirements:
  • Engineer with proved knowledge in Electronic Manufacturing sector, desirable in Space environment.
  • Knowledge on Materials validations.
  • Knowledge on Processes implementation and control.
  • Knowledge of ECSS and/or IPC standards.
  • Knowledge of Quality Certification Systems such as EN9100.
Language:
  • English and Spanish must be negotiation level.
Work Experience:
  • Experience in Material validation and Processes Control for 3 to 5 years.
  • Experience in Quality Department for at least 1 year, desirable 3 to 5 years.
Soft Skills:
  • Capability to integrate and work in multidisciplinary team.
  • Methodical and organized.
  • Good communicative.
  • Motivation.
  • Good Team spirit and business-orientation.
