Job Title: Principal Digital Design Engineer

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a highly skilled Principal Digital Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our digital design group, you will be responsible for designing and verifying complex digital circuits for our power management ICs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and verify digital circuits for power management ICs, including DC-DC converters and control topologies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, block diagrams, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design, application, or test issues.
  • Develop and implement simulation verification techniques and methodology.
  • Design and verify digital circuits using standard DV languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM).
  • Estimate and manage time/task completion to target schedule.
Requirements:
  • PhD/BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Digital Design/VLSI coursework.
  • 10+ years' experience in design and verification of ASIC or FPGA.
  • Experience in power management DC-DC converters and control topologies.
  • Proficient in standard DV languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM) and automated regression testcase development.
  • Experience with programming, scripting, and automation languages (C/C++, shell, Perl, TCL, Python, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge and experience working through the entire ASIC digital design flow.
  • Excellent knowledge and use of industry-standard ASIC tools/flow for daily work.
  • Good written/verbal communication skills and strong team work/collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with automotive standards and embedded MCU designs.
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese.
