Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Design Engineer to join our team of design engineers in Europe. This role will be on-site, with no remote option available. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of physical design and implementation, including chip and block floorplanning, power and clock distribution, and chip assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop digital/mixed-signal ICs using standard EDA tools
  • Work closely with digital/analog design teams for physical implementation and custom analog blocks/interface/IPs
  • Participate in the establishment of physical design methodologies and flow automation
  • Collaborate with the design development team to ensure timely and quality delivery of products
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
  • 1+ years of Physical Digital Design experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience (preferred)
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills in English and teamwork collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions according to design specifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with programming, scripting, and automation languages like Perl/TCL/Unix/Python
  • Strong knowledge of ASIC development process and digital design techniques
  • Expertise in Verilog/System Verilog coding, synthesis, CTS, DFT, extraction, and STA closure
  • Experience with industry physical tools: Cadence Encounter/Innovus tools (preferred) or Synopsys ICC/ICC2
