About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Data and Research Services (DRS) team at Boston Consulting Group. As a Research Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our consulting teams with high-quality research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on commercial, multi-industry, and economic topics, synthesizing data and facts into actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge bases, databases, and tools to support research analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to engage with clients, understand project requirements, and deliver accurate and timely research results.
  • Work closely with our Knowledge Team to develop and maintain research products, such as news alerts, company profiles, and industry reports.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that help our clients tackle their most pressing issues.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree in engineering, sciences, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant working experience in Industrial Goods topics, preferably in Greentech & Engineered Products.
  • Excellent English and Spanish language skills, with fluency in German a plus.
  • Ability to work with a wide array of office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

We work with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities, and trade data.
