About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Technical Lead to join our team at Solera. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the technical aspects of data-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the data team, ensuring the successful implementation of data projects and initiatives.
  2. Data Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular data audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  3. Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data processing pipelines using Cloudera and Spark technologies, among others.
  4. API Development: Develop and maintain scalable API solutions to provide data to both external and internal customers.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  6. Tool Implementation: Oversee the implementation of data analytics tools and technologies, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  7. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  8. Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data management and analytics, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
  9. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on data-related topics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  10. Project Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress and performance of data projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  2. Technical Expertise: At least 3 years of technical expertise in data management, analytics, and programming.
  3. Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in leading and managing data projects, including data integration, transformation, and modeling.
  4. Data Systems: In-depth knowledge of data systems and infrastructure, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient solutions.
  5. Data Analytics Tools: Proven experience with data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
  6. Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
  7. Data Governance: Excellent understanding of data governance processes, data standards, and best practices.
  8. Leadership and Communication: Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
