Responsibilities
A new hybrid opportunity is available for a motivated professional to join our Global Internal Audit team as a Lead Internal Audit Specialist. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and collaborative abilities, capable of executing internal audit functions that encompass core financial processes, support compliance initiatives, and engage in special projects, along with other assigned duties. The Lead Internal Audit Specialist will participate in audit assignments across Europe, the Middle East/Africa, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region. This role is highly visible and offers extensive exposure to the company's operations. The selected candidate will have excellent opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory. CPA or CIA certification is highly regarded.
- At least 3 years of experience in finance or operations within an international business environment, particularly in manufacturing and technology sectors.
- Proficiency in English is essential, with additional fluency in German, Mandarin, or other languages being advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced data analysis experience, particularly with MS Excel and other analytical tools.
- Practical experience in auditing core financial processes and controls (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, General Ledger).
- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise ERP systems (preferably SAP) including reporting, data analysis, and transactional analysis.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively while keeping team and organizational success in focus.
- A growth-oriented mindset, eager to embrace challenges and acquire new skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to build networks.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 4-6 times a year, typically for one week per trip, or two weeks in exceptional cases.
- Must maintain a valid passport and be flexible regarding travel requirements.
