About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our team at Roche. As a key member of our Product Management Team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering one of our new products together with our data and insights platform and healthcare ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Sprint planning sessions with the development team to ensure alignment and prioritization of product features.
- Collaborate with the development team to refine product requirements and ensure they are well-scoped and feasible.
- Support the Business Product Manager in processing customer requests and prioritizing the discovery backlog.
- Communicate top priority features and enablers with the development team to elicit early feedback and preparedness for the next Product Increment (PI).
- Ensure that the prepared backlog consists of items that maximize value while minimizing cost, requiring scoping correctly the features with input from architecture, security, development, and UX concerns.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience working in agile methodologies, with SAFe being a plus.
- Ability to map customer needs to solution thinking mode.
- Strong analytical skills, negotiation, and experience in writing stories and/or technical requirements.
- Comfortable in presenting and running demos of working software, and speaking to the functionalities from a user's perspective.
- Background in software development is a plus, as is background in laboratory workflows, healthcare, or biomedical engineering.
- Fluent in English is mandatory, and Spanish is highly recommended.
Tools and Technologies
- Experience working with Atlassian suite tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
- Experience working with Design tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
