Job Summary
Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Junior Project Configuration Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our MED Customer Project Execution group, you will be responsible for leading the planning and scheduling of all Sales & Construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor changes in configuration during the Construction phase and maintain project configuration aligned with customer and internal model updates.
- Synchronize with Technology the approval of changes and ensure global production planning is engaged and aligned with SBU goals.
- Coordinate and follow up with Supply Chain and Planning the feasibility of changes according to production plan.
- Align with Construction planners on the implementation of changes in the Internal Demand Plan.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Industrial, mechanical or management).
- 1 year professional experience required (Wind Industry knowledge would be an added value).
- Excellent English written and spoken.
- Office Software and SAP.
- Primavera Planning Software knowledge would be an added value.
Competencies
- Attention to details, precision, goal oriented.
- Solid communication skills.
- Good at prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to establish cross-functional relationships.
