Job Title: Lead Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Engineer to join our team at Veolia. As a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating engineering activities for projects, including design, engineering, and procurement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate engineering activities for projects, including design, engineering, and procurement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including P&IDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Support the Commercial/Proposals team with estimate of engineering hours required for projects.
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities and help implement them.
  • Develop and train junior engineers with technical knowledge and make them independent in specific product technology.
  • Provide site support activities for projects.
  • Support and control engineering hours spent, monitoring quality and timelines with Insource/internal team for the drawings/documents produced.
  • Evaluate technically bids from different suppliers.
  • Lead in project technical meetings.
  • Liaise with Global product Engineering group to maintain network, exchange knowledge, be updated on latest development.
  • Lead and Support Project Manager/Factory/Quality team with CE/UKCA marking certification, compiling related documents/technical files etc.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental engineering degree with minimum of 10 years' experience in the Project Engineering field.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Mechanical and Project engineering in water treatment field.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken is a must. French speaking is a plus.
