Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing workflows and the testing organization involved in mobile automation.
- Review the current mobile testing automation framework.
- Analyze project requirements, including market customizations, test data needs, and environmental variables to optimize testing.
- Compile a comprehensive list of current technologies, both open-source and licensed, that could be integrated into the technological framework.
- Shortlist technologies for a Proof of Concept based on established criteria.
- Develop a business case for the selected technologies, which may include programming-based, low-code, or record-and-play solutions.
- Provide a detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the chosen technologies.
- Lead the implementation and integration of the framework, collaborating with development and DevSecOps teams.
- Integrate the framework with existing organizational systems, including reporting and CI/CD.
- Facilitate change management and promote the adoption of the new framework.
- Oversee the testing automation framework and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Who are you?
- Over 10 years of professional experience in automation testing, with at least 6 years focused on native app automation using various methodologies.
- Proficient in multiple technologies such as Appium, Espresso, Katalon, TestComplete, NightwatchJS, XCUI tests, Calabash, Robotium, Flutter, Robot Framework, Selendroid, Xamarin, and Copado.
- Experience with cloud platforms that provide access to simulators and real devices, including BrowserStack, SauceLabs, and Perfecto Mobile.
- Expertise in applying AI for testing optimization, including test preparation, bug estimation, and self-healing scripts.
- Strong understanding of complex information systems architecture and web services.
- Programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, VBScript, TypeScript, C#, and Python.
- Experience in evaluating the ROI of testing automation investments.
- Familiarity with various automation testing solutions, particularly in multi-market mobile applications.
- Committed to driving improvements and advancing continuous enhancement plans.
