Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our main product.

You will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of our applications and designing automated functional tests.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, testers, and other stakeholders to contribute to product design, testability, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact different teams to understand testing needs and subsequent automation.
  • Help to define and maintain the QA tools and testing framework.
  • Develop test plans based on the analysis of feature requirements and a deep understanding of an application's behavior.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to software quality assurance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role in a software development environment.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, including Java.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium.
  • Experience consuming different APIs for development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of distributed version control system (e.g., Git).
