About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. As a key member of our QA department, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process for our video games, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise allocated projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise Senior Lead QA Testers, Lead QA Testers, and QA Testers, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our QA team.
  • Communication and Liaison: Establish and maintain effective relationships with Functional & Compliance QA, Producers, Developers, and other External Departments to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Platform Compliance: Liaise with Platform Holders to ensure compliance with guidelines and standards.
  • Development Milestones: Jointly sign-off on development milestones and manage the submission process to ensure timely delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage bug reports, bug database, and QA reports to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  • Department Management: Manage the QA department on a day-to-day basis, ensuring efficient operations and effective use of resources.
  • Performance Appraisals: Conduct performance appraisals of direct reports, providing constructive feedback and guidance for growth and development.
  • Disciplinary Issues: Address and resolve disciplinary issues as necessary, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Recruitment and Interview Process: Participate in the recruitment and interview process, identifying and selecting top talent to join our QA team.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Management Skills: Demonstrate strong management skills, including successfully handling ambiguity, flexibility, and understanding of the development process, while maintaining good relations with producers and developers.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, and bug writing process, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Lead QA Tester or equivalent.
  • Format Holder Standards: Familiarity with format holder standards (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite, Source Control, and Visual Studio, with technical knowledge of PCs, gaming consoles, and related hardware.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Ability to effectively liaise with other departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and successfully in English, in both written and oral forms.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Technical Literacy: PC hardware literate and mastering literate.
  • Industry Passion: Passion for the video games industry and willingness to adopt a broad overview of the department.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal, communication skills, and management skills, with a reliable and positive personality to foster excellent working relationships.
