Position: Energy Storage Systems Technical Lead at Ferrovial Energy

Overview: The Energy Storage Systems Technical Lead will be instrumental in the Ferrovial Energy Technical Office. This role is dedicated to delivering expert insights in technology, engineering, and asset integrity across all phases of an asset's lifecycle. The focus will be on ensuring that the design, technology choices, quality control, and technical premises of energy storage systems conform to industry standards and optimize value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing project development, engineering, and construction phases
  • Providing operational support for existing energy storage systems
  • Engaging in technical assessments and due diligence
  • Leading competitive bidding for key projects

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in large-scale energy storage systems
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering
  • Strong skills in project management; PMP certification is a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of energy storage technology and its components
  • Experience in Development, EPC, O&M, and equipment supply contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Expertise in integrating energy storage with other technologies
  • Familiarity with MATLAB is advantageous
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
