Job Summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Event Strategist to lead our European events team and drive the success of our large-scale customer events in Europe. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic event plan that aligns with Veeva's business objectives and goals.
  • Lead the European events team and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact events that exceed delegate expectations.
  • Project manage key European Summits, including event logistics, production, and execution.
  • Craft and deliver differentiating experiences for core and executive track attendees of Veeva industry events.
  • Organize event logistics and production from cradle to grave for all Veeva-led events and industry trade shows.
  • Maintain budget, procurement, and invoice/expense tracking and reconciliation.
  • Ensure flawless execution, quality of service, and timely delivery of all necessary components, properties, and materials for each event.
  • Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of industry best practices to bring innovative ideas for digital and in-person events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years of corporate event leadership experience in Enterprise B2B Software or SaaS.
  • Experience leading large-scale (1,000+ attendees) world-class conferences, live and virtual, with a focus on logistical planning and execution.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Proven excellence in participating in cross-team program management and high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with other teams and across all levels.
  • Ability to travel 15-20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Life sciences industry experience a plus but not essential.
