Safety Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Product Safety Engineer - Risk Assessment to support our product safety efforts.
As a Product Safety Engineer - Risk Assessment, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and ensuring that our products meet all relevant safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct risk assessments according to ISO 12100 within the product development and design process, as well as during the prototype phase (incl. field inspection)
- Support projects with specific requirements in the field of hazard and risk analysis
- Provide advice and support to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department with regard to Wind Turbine rescue plan and residual risk register
- Advise Sales on product safety and communicate directly with customers when necessary
- Opportunity to make a difference in the industry and ensure the safety of products
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent degree
- At least five years of experience with product safety
- Knowledge of European Machinery Directive and harmonized standards such as ISO 12100, ISO 14122, ISO 13857
- Experience in the use of Safexpert software
- Knowledge in Product Data Management (PDM) systems (e.g. Teamcenter and Windchill)
- Knowledge in fire protection desirable
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge in Wind Energy is beneficial
- High level of English & German, Spanish is a plus
