About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at Powens. As a key member of our Operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, confidentiality, and integrity of our information systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity plan to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
  • Ensure the security of our information systems and continuously improve our security standards to meet the evolving needs of our business.
  • Protect the sensitive data and funds of our customers by implementing robust security measures.
  • Collaborate with our product development teams to ensure the security by design of our products and services.
  • Maintain and update our security documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Act as a security ambassador for our organization, working closely with teams and management to promote a culture of security and compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information systems security, preferably in a technical role such as auditor or security analyst.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Spanish and/or French a plus.
  • Experience in managing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and knowledge of security best practices and ISO 27001 requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in the fintech or payment industry is a significant advantage.
