Postdoctoral Researcher in AI for Biomedical Multi-Omic Data Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Nataša Pržulj on a prestigious research grant focused on developing and applying machine learning and network science models for biomedical real-world data.
About the ProjectThe project aims to develop sophisticated machine learning and network science models and algorithms for analyzing large-scale, heterogeneous molecular (multi-omic) and patient data. The successful candidate will work on developing new ML algorithms for computationally hard problems and applying them to aid drug repurposing and personalizing treatment choices.
Responsibilities- Develop and apply machine learning and network science models for biomedical real-world data
- Work on developing new ML algorithms for computationally hard problems
- Apply ML models to analyze large-scale, heterogeneous molecular (multi-omic) and patient data
- Collaborate with internationally renowned experts in different related areas
The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, network science, and biomedical data analysis. Experience with high-performance computing environments and collaboration with internationally renowned experts is highly desirable.
