Postdoctoral Researcher in AI for Biomedical Data Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will work closely with Professor Nataša Pržulj to develop and apply sophisticated machine learning and network science models and algorithms for biomedical real-world data.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and apply machine learning algorithms for computationally hard problems in biomedical data analysis
- Analyze large-scale, heterogeneous molecular (multi-omic) and patient data to aid drug repurposing and personalizing treatment choices
- Collaborate with internationally renowned experts in different related areas
- Work in a highly sophisticated HPC environment with access to systems and computational infrastructures
You will join a dynamic research group led by Professor Nataša Pržulj, working on prestigious research grants. Our team is passionate about advancing the field of biomedical data analysis and its applications in cancer precision medicine.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, bioinformatics, biostatistics)
- Strong background in machine learning and network science
- Experience with large-scale data analysis and computational modeling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
