About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets to propose the right data modeling technique or approach based on requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex datasets to propose the right data modeling technique or approach based on requirements.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Power BI Engineers, and Data Architects in the construction and optimization of Databricks medallion architecture layers (Silver and Gold) and sources consolidation.
  • Own, optimize, and evolve existing data models to improve performance and accuracy.
  • Design and implement data marts based on different consumption methodologies (Power BI, API, ML, etc.) to ensure high performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics techniques and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
  • Ability to interpret and transform business requirements, processes, business goals, and rules into conceptual, logical, and physical database design.
  • Strong proficiency in multiple data modeling and optimization techniques, understanding their benefits and weaknesses.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience with Databricks and Spark.
  • Strong communication skills, accustomed to working with business departments to understand data value.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Must be able to work under pressure when necessary.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in the working environment.
