About the Role

What You'll Do

  1. Deliver strategic advice to clients, manage accounts, and develop relationships with client groups. Own client relationships with limited supervision, preparing and delivering client programs.
  2. Build the business by seeking new leads and working with senior team members on business development activities, such as pitch preparation and delivery.
  3. Team involvement: project management for the team working on clients and knowledge sharing with junior team members.
  4. Networking: proactively network with contacts and stakeholders, as well as potential clients.
  5. Marketing: support company activities going to market, market your own thought leadership.

Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ask necessary questions to manage company and client data responsibly.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Strong academic background.
  2. Proven skills in public affairs, advocacy, issues, and reputation management in regulated industries in Spain or elsewhere.
  3. Excellent understanding and experience of working with policymakers and stakeholders in Brussels/Madrid or in other national capitals to further strategic objectives.
  4. At least 6 years' experience in-house, in a trade body, in a public institution, or advising clients on policy and communications issues.
  5. Excellent English with one or two additional languages preferable.
  6. Great writing skills and a good understanding of communications, corporate reputation.
  7. A self-starter with a can-do attitude.
  8. Alignment with our ethical values, diversity, and inclusion approach.
  9. Travel required to clients and to company offices.
