Role Overview
Reporting to the Process Security Risk Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement a robust control framework aimed at safeguarding security across business operations. This position entails identifying operational vulnerabilities, evaluating control landscapes, and offering strategic recommendations to alleviate risks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance our control framework focused on securing business operations, enabling effective oversight, management, and risk mitigation in alignment with our organizational objectives and technological infrastructure. Detect potential risks within operational processes and execute risk mitigation strategies and controls. Assist in the formulation of standards, procedures, and policies while enhancing our capabilities through process optimization, policy automation, and the ongoing advancement of our control framework. Create detailed audit plans that define the scope, objectives, and methodologies for evaluating operational risks. Document and communicate control deficiencies and gaps to relevant stakeholders. Provide guidance for remediation and occasionally lead projects to ensure the implementation of mitigation strategies or process enhancements, along with preparing management reports to monitor remediation efforts.Required Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information/Cyber Security, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field. A practical approach developed through substantial experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) departments, including direct involvement in defining, creating, and executing control frameworks. Experience in documenting security protocols, policies, and standards is essential. Conduct assessments and compliance evaluations using international standards and best practices across various sectors. Ensure active management, monitoring, documentation, and mitigation of all risks and non-conformities. This includes analyzing root causes of operational discrepancies and aiding in the development and execution of risk mitigation strategies. Define and track KPIs/KRIs and generate tailored reporting for different stakeholders. Conduct audits of controls and execute remediation plans for both internal and external partners, supporting the completion of business unit-specific risk/control self-assessments. Preferred work experience in a professional setting, including: Proven planning and problem-solving abilities. Comprehensive understanding of market structures, including relevant regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR). Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives. Proven ability to translate functional requirements into actionable tasks. Experience in organizing and executing risk assessment and compliance projects. Ability to effectively support audits (both internal and external), compile evidence, and organize audit responses. Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English. Willingness to travel.Preferred Qualifications / Personal Attributes
Relevant security certifications such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001. Proficient in MS Office, project management tools, and at least one GRC software (recommended). Familiarity with auditing, monitoring, controlling, and process assessment frameworks.
