Responsibilities:

* Manage the daily operations of the academy, working closely with other members of the academic management team
* Lead, motivate, and organize the teaching team to deliver high-quality language instruction
* Implement protocols for quality, standardization, and health and safety
* Ensure the quality assurance of the teaching operation
* Provide didactic support to learners and teachers, including covering classes as necessary
* Provide customer service and assist the commercial department in promoting the academy's services to corporate and institutional clients
* Assist with the development and implementation of products and publicity
* Recruit and train new staff members

Requirements:

* Strong EFL background with experience teaching all ages of students
* Good working knowledge of Cambridge ESOL exams (DELTA an advantage)
* Proven organizational and administrative skills
* Significant experience of teaching online, ideally with ZOOM
* IT skills
* Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
* Proven ability to help resolve a wide variety of teacher and student problems and work under stress
* Understanding of the commercial side and ability to be flexible according to the changing needs of the academy and its clients
* Management experience
* Good level of Spanish (B2 or above) or ability to learn fast
* Commitment to providing stability and a vision of the future
