Electrical Commissioning Manager in Europe

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Manager to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for managing the entire electrical building commissioning process, developing commissioning plans, and ensuring that electrical systems are properly tested and certified.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the electrical commissioning process, including developing commissioning plans, schedules, and reports.
- Develop and implement commissioning strategies for electrical systems, including developing test scripts and checklists.
- Record and manage data in our project management software, with a focus on electrical aspects.
- Conduct inspections and tests related to electrical systems, and report on findings.
- Assist in the development of design and commissioning documentation for tender and construction purposes, emphasizing electrical elements.
- Attend project and internal meetings as needed, representing the electrical commissioning perspective.
- Arrange test instrumentation with a specific focus on electrical systems.
- Support projects during client discussions of a technical nature related to electrical components.
- Review technical papers/reports related to electrical systems before publication.
- Work closely with the general contractor's team to develop commissioning strategies and processes aligned with project objectives, with a focus on electrical aspects.
- Conduct technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals, and technical submittals related to electrical systems.
- Manage detailed recording of meetings, particularly those involving electrical commissioning discussions.
- Provide routine progress reporting and final project close-out reports with a focus on electrical systems.
- Manage attendance and reporting of factory tests for electrical components.
- Arrange third-party sign-off as necessary for electrical systems.
- Provide technical advice to clients regarding project and operational risk related to electrical aspects.
- A minimum of 8 years of commissioning experience.
- Individual drive, enthusiasm, and high attention to detail.
- Detailed technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Creativity and an ability to problem-solve quickly.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- Being task and deadline focused.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality project work.
- A commissioning professional as certified by an accredited agency.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer preferred.
- Data Center commissioning experience.
- Commissioning certification preferred (CxA, CCP, BCxP, or CBCP).
- Have one or more specific, relevant, technical expertise.
- Proficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as Trace or IES.
- Preference given to local candidates.
