Mechanical Commissioning Manager in Europe/ Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Commissioning Manager to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for managing the entire mechanical building commissioning process, developing commissioning plans, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the mechanical building commissioning process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and reports for mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop design and commissioning documentation for tender and construction purposes.
  • Conduct inspections and tests related to mechanical systems, and provide detailed progress reports.
  • Assist in the development of tender submissions, emphasizing mechanical requirements.
  • Support projects during client discussions of a technical nature related to mechanical components.
  • Review technical papers and reports related to mechanical systems before publication.
  • Work closely with general contractors to develop commissioning strategies and processes aligned with project objectives.
  • Manage detailed recording of meetings, particularly those involving mechanical commissioning discussions.
  • Provide routine progress reporting and final project close-out reports.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of commissioning experience.
  • Individual drive, enthusiasm, and high attention to detail.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Creativity and an ability to problem-solve quickly.
  • Multi-tasking abilities.
  • Being task and deadline focused.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality project work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A commissioning professional as certified by an accredited agency.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer preferred.
  • Data Center commissioning experience.
  • Commissioning certification preferred (CxA, CCP, BCxP, or CBCP).
  • Have one or more specific, relevant, technical expertise.
  • Proficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as Trace or IES.
