About the Position
The Vice-rectorate for Research and International Relations at Universidad de Deusto, in collaboration with the DeustoMED research team, invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Research Focus
The DeustoMED research team is primarily composed of medical educators and researchers, with a focus on patient-centered and sustainable care. The team's research initiatives encompass projects in basic laboratory research, digital health, and educational innovation in medicine, all centered around the person and climate sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to research proposals within the medicine department and collaborate with other departments and disciplines.
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals (WoS and SJR) alongside group members.
- Participate in competitive projects (Basque Government, Spanish Government, Horizon Europe...).
- Submit competitive research proposals.
- Engage in knowledge transfer and promote social impact through participation in conferences and scientific workshops.
- Supervise doctoral theses and undergraduate final projects in the Medicine program.

Benefits
- Contract duration: 3 years.
- Annual gross salary: €32,985.15 to €42,000, distributed into 15 monthly installments, depending on the candidate's experience.
- Contract category: Associate researcher/investigador/a asociado/a.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Mathematics or Health Sciences (such as Biology, Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Science, Nutrition), or related fields.
- Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field with significant experience in health data analysis and research study design.
- At least 5 scientific publications either as author or coauthor.
Additional Considerations
- PhD completed from 2019 onwards.
- Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, particularly in the healthcare sector.
