About the Role

Sécheron Hasler Group, a leading global supplier of electrical and electronic safety components and solutions, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, assembly, and maintenance of power electronic equipment dedicated to substations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and Assembly: Develop and assemble power electronic equipment, interpreting and working from electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, particularly on rolling stock equipment, using and managing electrical measurement instrumentation effectively.
  • Operations: Execute operations following established procedures and instructions, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and provide detailed reports on the status of equipment and any issues encountered.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operation and project success, exhibiting strong team spirit and contributing to a positive working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, preferably with rolling stock equipment.
  • Proficiency in managing electrical measurement instrumentation.
  • Competence in managing mechanical tools.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally based on project needs.
