Be a Key Player in Qonto's Expansion in Spain

We're seeking a skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our dynamic Risk and Compliance team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in navigating and enhancing our compliance framework in this crucial market, ensuring alignment with local regulations and fostering trust with our Supervisors.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact for the competent authorities in Spain, maintaining trustful and reliable relationships with Qonto's Supervisors.
  • Engage in proactive identification and mitigation of compliance risks through new product reviews, partnerships & outsourcing approvals, etc.
  • Participate in cross-functional team projects to roll out Qonto's strategy to become Europe's #1 online business account.
  • Lead and manage compliance projects, setting benchmarks for success.

About You:
  • Experience: Solid experience in regulatory compliance within the banking or payment industry, preferably with direct exposure to Spanish competent authorities.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex regulations into understandable terms and communicate them to various audiences in fluent Spanish and English.
  • Analytical Thinking: Proactive identification of compliance risks and a passion for solving complex problems.
  • Structured: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
