This position plays a crucial role in driving the execution of Novartis' ambition to leverage data and digital as a strategic asset, driving actionable insights across the organization.
As a key pillar in the company's broader digital transformation, this role is accountable for designing, building, and deploying LDC in-scope processes and data based on user requirements defined in conjunction with domain pillars and the E2E data team.
Collaborating with the architecture team, this individual will identify new technologies and explore new possibilities arising from them.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for LDC Solution Design in the assigned area, based on business requirements, Novartis architectural standards, performance, quality, and security principles.
- Decide on design decisions for complex issues in strong collaboration with functional GPOs and LDC Pillars, based on detailed rational and interpretation to fully understand implications of the proposal for the integrated solution.
- Improve and sustain standardization efficiency while respecting regulatory and control requirements.
- Support the development, execution, and operations of solutions, working closely with IT experts to ensure integrated solutions.
- Prepare and run fit-gap workshops, identify critical integration points and dependencies, propose solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations, and align with business teams.
- Ensure solution testing meets quality standards and champion the need to stay standard from a customization perspective.
- Adhere to all relevant internal and external security and compliance policies and procedures.
- Experience in managing the entire tender contract lifecycle, ensuring a holistic view of the tendering process between contract management, order management, supply, and finance.
- Experience in identifying tender types based on sell-out channels to best prepare bidding strategy and ensure bid conditions are applied to the customer and full compliance with Novartis tender management and regulatory standards.
- Experience in defining and determining all commercial models and pricing scenarios related to prepare tender bidding proposals and ensure best conditions go to the customer.
- At least 3 years' experience in country and/or global tendering roles.
- Strong end-user experience in SAP S4/HANA and/or Vistex.
