About the Role
This position plays a crucial role in driving the execution of Novartis' ambition to leverage data and digital technologies as a strategic asset to drive actionable insights across the organization. As part of the broader digital transformation initiative, this role assumes accountability for the design, development, and deployment of LDC solutions in-scope processes and data based on user requirements defined in conjunction with domain pillars and the E2E data team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the LDC Solution Design in the area responsible based on business requirements and Novartis architectural standards, performance, quality, and security principles.
- Collaborates with architecture to identify new technologies and explore new possibilities arising from them.
- Improves and sustains standardization efficiently while respecting regulatory and control requirements.
- Supports the development, execution, and operations of solutions.
- Ensures integrated solutions by working closely with experts in connected work packages, data & analytics, and applying a continuous improvement mindset.
- Accountable for delivering dedicated project work to agreed time, cost, and quality constraints following release calendars.
- Ensures solutions are peer-reviewed, formally documented, and signed off by domain pillars and business functions.
- Accountable for solution testing and ensuring it meets quality standards.
- Champions the need to stay standard from a customization perspective by establishing standardized design and development processes to enable cost-effective delivery.
- Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and external security and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
- University-level degree or equivalent.
- Strong functional subject matter expertise in commercial contracting processes with transactional customers (wholesalers, hospitals, pharmacies) across the entire contract lifecycle in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in defining and developing contract and revenue architectures.
- Knowledge of contract and claims types, including claims maintenance, disputes, and deduction management processes.
