Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process sales orders from customers, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Prepare purchase orders for suppliers based on sales needs, taking into account inventory levels and lead times.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, and reporting discrepancies.
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate delivery schedules, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding orders, delivery status, and product availability, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to orders, deliveries, or products, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange the shipment and delivery of goods, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, order status, and inventory levels for management review, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field.
- Experience with procurement software and systems, including order management and inventory tracking.
- Knowledge of procurement flow, including sourcing, procurement, and logistics.
- Knowledge of warehouse and stock control procedures, including inventory management and tracking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and products.
