About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Project Manager to lead projects from end to end, involving internal resources and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business through innovation projects and new business models, ensuring alignment with Imerys' budget and strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for new business growth in various Imerys subsegments, including mergers and acquisitions, key partnerships, and complex innovation projects.
- Define the right products, market approach, operational setup, team, and external partners to implement new business opportunities.
- Break down complex projects into tangible objectives and associated sets of actions.
- Lead informal teams and facilitate teamwork to execute actions and achieve objectives.
- Deliver on project financials, including revenue, margin, and costs, and ensure timely completion.
- Act as a primary contact and manage relationships with external partners.
- Prepare and lead regular reviews, including presentations.
- Collaborate with other Imerys functions and segments to ensure potential synergies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in project management, marketing, sales, or business development with a technical product.
- Knowledge of the markets of Plastics, Adhesives, Rubber, and Paints, and their technologies and players.
- Excellent business acumen and technical understanding of the mineral industry.
- Professional English language skills, with other languages appreciated (French a plus).
