Fire Protection Engineer for Oil and Gas Company

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at Trs Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our technical office in Bilbao, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fire protection systems for our oil and gas clients.
Key Responsibilities- Document Development: Create comprehensive documents, including fire protection philosophies, F&G systems, passive protection philosophies, and sectorization of buildings.
- Specifications and Requisitions: Develop specifications for detection and alarm systems in buildings and F&G systems in plants, as well as requisitions for fire protection and gas detection equipment and materials.
- Technical Management: Manage and follow up on orders with vendors, integrators, and subcontractors, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
- Construction Support: Provide technical support during construction, including site visits for supervising fire protection and F&G installations, commissioning, and start-up.
- Review and Analysis: Review vendor documents and perform hydraulic calculations using software such as PIPENET.
- Education: Master's or University degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in fire protection engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Language Skills: English language proficiency (minimum B2 or equivalent).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management of hydraulic calculation software.
- Additional Requirements: Experience in offshore projects, particularly in the oil and gas industry, is highly valued.
