Your Role
As an Automation & Electric Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the automation of our core technologies. You will leverage your expertise to optimize processes, minimize human intervention, and maximize operational efficiency. This includes planning, implementing, and monitoring automation technologies to ensure streamlined production while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and explore new automation opportunities within our industrial processes.
- Simulate and test equipment to verify functionality and efficiency.
- Design and implement advanced process control and automation systems, focusing on Beckhoff and Siemens technologies.
- Source and procure necessary sensors and actuators for automation systems.
- Document technical findings, including new concepts and testing results.
- Maintain accurate records of automation processes and equipment.
- Provide training to staff on new systems and processes.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems as they arise.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing industrial automation systems.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- An understanding of renewable energy trends and economics.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and motivated approach, with a passion for our mission.
- A flexible mindset suited for a dynamic startup environment.
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
