Position Overview

As a Supply Chain Planning Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the daily oversight of order planning and allocation across various flows, including deliveries and recovery management. Your primary objective will be to ensure customer satisfaction while optimizing stock levels to meet our strategic supply chain goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize optimization tools to adjust and plan logistics flows and production schedules, coordinating closely with the Central Planning team.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels at the plant, balancing capacity and service quality to minimize costs.
  • Lead the management of seasonal supply fluctuations, including forecasting, communication, and exception handling.
  • Apply local expertise in optimization tools (e.g., JDA) to conduct high-level daily analyses, particularly when proposed flows do not align with operational needs.
  • Generate customized reports to meet the specific reporting requirements of the Local Logistics Office.
  • Ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CHEP operations and negotiation skills is advantageous.

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a supply chain environment, with a focus on inventory management.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in SAP (or similar systems) and JDA.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a positive demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical skills in stock control, demand forecasting, and planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical capabilities.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of French is a plus.

Preferred Education:

Degree or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Work Experience:

1 - 3 years in a relevant field.
