Your Role
As a Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the Health and Safety System at the facility.
- Ensuring adherence to the procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual and managing the documentation system.
- Identifying and addressing the training needs related to Health and Safety for all personnel.
- Coordinating the implementation of business activity coordination.
- Managing the medical follow-up for all employees.
- Supervising the activities of the Safety and Health technician.
- Conducting investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommending corrective actions.
- Executing emergency drills and training emergency response teams.
- Advising internal stakeholders on safety considerations for various projects.
- Managing the Environmental System of the facility.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and managing waste generation.
- Supporting the Facility Manager in Health and Safety-related functions.
- Promoting awareness among all personnel regarding the importance of compliance with safety procedures and equipment.
- Ensuring the implementation, review, and auditing of the Health, Safety, and Environmental systems in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A university degree in Occupational Risk Prevention.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role within a production environment.
- Fluency in English.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and results.
- Strong analytical skills.
