At Icon, we're seeking a highly skilled Site Contract and Budget Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our clinical trial operations, you will play a critical role in negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and budgets with investigative sites and legal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as primary point of contact with investigative sites for budget negotiations and as primary point of contact between Vertex Legal and investigative sites for CTA language negotiations.
- Adhere to CBM policies and procedures for CTA and budget negotiations, escalating budgets as required for fair market value assessments and collecting relevant study documents/rationale to support budget escalations.
- Document all budget and contract activities in a tracking database and maintain milestone data, liaising with Vertex Legal, Study Management, CBM, and CRO (if applicable) to address and resolve site queries.
- Attend and contribute to study-related meetings, as required, keeping Site Contracting Manager and study team members aware of urgent issues and status updates that may adversely impact study start-up timelines.
- Manage site relationships to high standards of excellence, demonstrating strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact with internal Vertex groups as well as external groups.
- Utilize strong analytical capabilities, intermediate presentation skills, and the ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional team to understand, clearly articulate, and defend company budget decisions and rationales.
- Develop a thorough understanding of clinical trial budgeting processes and the ability to summarize high-level feedback.
