Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Product Technologist to join our Africa Technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting R&D design and development projects, including tooling and fixtures, to meet corporate objectives.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and prepare prototypes for new products, conduct shelf-life studies, lab trials, and formulation tweaking as per guidelines.
- Ensure accurate sample preparation, operate lab/kitchen and plant equipment, and develop cost-effective recipes in view of market or business demand.
- Support upscaling from pilot scale and transfer to industrialization, maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment and practices, and document experiments and results in Laboratory notebooks with full traceability.
- Establish an efficient network in the factory, perform chemistry analysis on finished products, and provide assistance with microbiological testing of environmental swabs, raw materials, and finished products.
- Contribute to product development and the establishment and implementation of processing activities, including safety, in the Technical center Laboratory, Pilot Plant, Sensory room.
