Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Global Engineering Director to lead our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) design and engineering efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our BESS solutions.
Key Responsibilities- ESS System Design: Develop and implement comprehensive design and engineering strategies for BESS systems, including DC & AC system integration, battery sizing, thermal management, auxiliaries, and EMS integration.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive excellence in execution.
- Implementation: Oversee the implementation of BESS projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy storage system design and engineering, with experience leading international high-performing teams. They will also have a proven track record of collaborating with international suppliers and driving innovation in BESS technology.
Requirements- 10+ years' experience in ESS design and engineering team management.
- Experience with DG or utility-scale BESS system design is preferred.
- Experience leading an international high-performing global team.
- Familiarity with international suppliers, particularly in USA, LATAM, and Europe.
