Project Lead Engineer for Battery Storage and Microgrid Systems
At HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U., we are seeking a highly skilled Project Lead Engineer to join our Grid Automation Business Unit.
As a Project Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the project engineering, reporting to the Engineering Manager, and working closely with the Project Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of Battery Storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects, overseeing all technical activities and coordinating the project team.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements in the execution process.
- Embody the values of safety and integrity in your work.
- Collaborate with the team and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Support the bid and proposal team in developing innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
- Fluency in Spanish, Italian, or German is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, LV, MV, and HV electrical equipment, switchgears, and generation equipment.
- Familiarity with Microgrid systems, battery storage, and renewable generation is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools is essential.
- Ability to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
