Project Lead Engineer for Battery Storage and Microgrid Systems

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Lead Engineer to join our Grid Automation Business Unit at HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U.
As a Project Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the project engineering and coordinating the project team, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Execution of Battery Storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects, leading all technical activities and coordinating the project team.
- Proactively seek and implement improvements in the execution process.
- Living values of safety and integrity.
- Be part of a team and act as a team player.
- Support of bid & proposal team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Fluency in both spoken & written English is required.
- Fluency in both spoken & written Spanish, Italian or German is not a must but considered as a plus.
- Good knowledge of power systems, LV, MV and HV electrical equipment, switchgears, generation equipment is required.
- Knowledge of Microgrid systems, battery storage, renewable generation is considered as a plus.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools is required.
- Flexibility to travel (occasionally) is required.
