Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Powerplant Engineer to join our team at Sin Nombre. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft engines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed technical reviews of service bulletins and airworthiness directives related to engines and auxiliary power units.
  • Manage the implementation of engine modifications and accessory part upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to our maintenance operations center and heavy maintenance representatives.
  • Collaborate with our reliability team to identify and resolve repetitive failures across our fleet.
  • Oversee engine health monitoring and control.
  • Liaise with original equipment manufacturers to resolve technical issues.
  • Generate operator documents, including minimum equipment lists and technical notices.
  • Provide technical support for aircraft lease returns and engine shop visits.
  • Manage engine shop visit schedules, costs, and maintenance relationships.
  • Oversee the technical control of large line replaceable unit assemblies.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in a technical field or equivalent experience with aircraft maintenance certification.
  • At least [number] years of experience in airline, CAMO, or OEM/MRO facilities.
  • Technical knowledge of engine and aircraft maintenance or repair and overhaul.
  • Familiarity with EASA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver results under tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in AMOS and Microsoft software programs.
