About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Testing Engineer to join our team at Zurich 56 Company Ltd. As a key member of our Global Security Testing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in Information Gathering Sessions to evaluate client requirements and develop proposals for collaboration.
  • Work with technical leads to evaluate proposal notes and share them with the Test Service Manager.
  • Operate with the Security Pipeline to identify next Security Assessment projects in scope and confirm project scope and access requirements with stakeholders.
  • Elaborate and send Security Assessment Plans before project commencement and upload information gathered for testers.
  • During project execution, serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for both testers and clients, facilitating the resolution of potential issues that may arise during Manual Penetration Testing projects.
  • Provide support and guidelines to testers on project execution when needed and ensure final reports are sent to stakeholders.
  • Oversee Retest process and ensure testers take required actions to run them as per schedule.
  • Support and serve as SPOC for the Veracode Service, supporting the Global Test Service Manager as needed.
  • Attend meetings related to Veracode delegated by the Global Test Service Manager and support the team providing services to Veracode, facilitating coordination between Operations team and clients.
  • Oversee the Security Test engineering team mailbox, sharing relevant proposals received via Forms for Security Assessments with team contacts and overseeing requests related to Veracode or Security scan requirements completed by the Security Operations team.
  • Participate in process and procedures documentation related to services provided by the unit, working with external providers and overseeing their activities related to Security Assessments and Application Security services.
  • Act as a backup for the Global Security Test Service Manager if required, covering actions related to project execution and designed tasks related to Run&Maintain services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related subject.
  • Understanding of Application Security Testing requirements related to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proven experience managing or executing Manual Penetration Testing during the SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience with AppSec scanning: Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA).
  • Experience with DevSecOps/Cloud Security is a plus.
  • Understanding of Information/IT governance and risk management.
  • Proven experience with common AppSec Frameworks such as OWASP, PTES, and NIST.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to participate in meetings and provide expert advice.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Professional Security Qualification - CISSP, CISM, CCSP (or other similar cloud security qualification), CEH, CompTIA Security+.
  • Knowledge & Experience of working with AppSec scanning and Manual Penetration Testing tools, such as Veracode, Checkmarks, Burp suite, among others.
  • Experience as an Application Security Consultant/Manager/Developer.
  • Familiar with Agile project management methodologies.
