Renewable Energy Origination Specialist

R. Power Sp. z o.o. is a leading player in the European solar energy market.

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Power Purchase Agreement Manager to join our team in Warsaw. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for securing offtake agreements for our solar projects, including origination, negotiation, and execution of physical and virtual PPA contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an offtake strategy to maximize top-line value creation in line with our financing strategy;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create solutions that optimize funding opportunities and enable project development;
  • Gather market insights, structure new business transactions, and network with energy off-takers and business partners;
  • Identify and approach energy investment-grade off-takers interested in PV energy supply;
  • Structure PPA deals in terms of key commercial terms, settlement mechanics, and guarantee structures;
  • Manage cooperation with external business and legal advisors, as well as internal legal teams;
  • Report PPA performance and actively support asset management or financial functions related to PPA settlement and revenue management;
  • Solve and deliver PPA compliance issues;
  • Present findings to the management team;
  • Support the development of energy storage projects, including interaction with PPAs or other routes to market;
  • Understand developments in the European markets and energy policy and their impact on revenue;
  • Help internal teams understand revenue opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Strong competencies in power markets, including in-depth understanding of energy trading and/or utilities PPA/cPPA origination for renewables projects;
  • Successful track record in managing project and business development at power and/or renewables;
  • Experience working with privately-owned enterprises and international environments, preferably at multinational utilities or advisory businesses;
  • Fit to our dynamic organizational culture, hands-on, and implementation-oriented;
  • Ability to independently manage projects and deliver results;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with confidence to liaise with energy off-takers and collaborate across R. Power teams;
  • Comfortable with conducting primary and secondary market research;
  • Education in finance, legal, or technical faculties.
